This policy describes how cyang.io handles copyright infringement notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

1. How to Submit a DMCA Notice

Send notices to dmca@cyang.io.

If needed, you may also use /report and identify the request as a DMCA notice.

2. Required Elements of a Valid Notice

Your notice must include:

  • your full legal name and contact information,
  • identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed,
  • identification of the allegedly infringing material with enough detail for us to locate it (for example token, alias, URL, or document reference),
  • a statement that you have a good-faith belief use is not authorized,
  • a statement under penalty of perjury that your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf,
  • your physical or electronic signature.

3. Review and Response Process

After receiving a facially valid notice, we may:

  • acknowledge receipt,
  • review available evidence,
  • disable or restrict access to the identified content,
  • notify the affected user where appropriate.

4. Counter-Notice Process

If content was removed due to a mistake or misidentification, the affected user may submit a counter-notice to dmca@cyang.io.

A valid counter-notice should include:

  • user name and contact information,
  • identification of removed content and its former location,
  • a statement under penalty of perjury that removal was due to mistake or misidentification,
  • consent to jurisdiction where required by applicable DMCA rules,
  • physical or electronic signature.

5. Repeat Infringer Policy

We may suspend or terminate accounts involved in repeated copyright infringement.

6. False or Abusive Claims

Submitting knowingly false notices or counter-notices may lead to legal consequences. We reserve the right to address abusive reporting behavior through account restrictions and other enforcement actions.

7. Recordkeeping

DMCA notices and related responses may be logged for legal compliance, auditability, and abuse prevention.

This policy operates alongside the Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy.
